It was only a matter of time before Jay-Z would return to the creative realm that brought him the likes of his first two Blueprint albums, given that his last non-American Gangster album, Kingdom Come, was an’ unyielding disaster. The Blueprint 3 promises to be a return to the Jay who so freely wares his hart on his sleeve with tracks like “History” (a song celebrating the Obama presidency), and “Jockin’ Jay-Z” serving as early precursors to the album. So there may not actually be that big a difference between the rapper and the person.
