A former employee of ex-Fugee star Wyclef Jean’s Yele Haiti Foundation is spilling the tea on some of the hip-hop star’s “side deals.”

‘Clef has been accused stealing funds from his Yele Haiti charity group, and that he used funds from the organization to pay an alleged mistress a six-figure salary, according to a new scoop from Gawker.com.

Yele Haiti collected millions of dollars to aid the people of Haiti — Wyclef’s homeland — after a devastating earthquake rocked the region Jan. 12.

According to Gawker spies, Zakiya Khatou-Chevassus carried on a lengthy affair with ‘Clef and was paid $105,000 as an independent contractor for the charity in 2008.

“She worked for Wyclef on all Wyclef matters. She did whatever Wyclef needed that day, whether it was related to Yele or not. She would do things like book flights, and she wasn’t very good at it. It’s a shame that she made that much money,” an unidentified snoop blab to the site last week.

Wyclef has yet to release an official statement regarding the accusations, but he fired off a blitz of Twitter denials online after the report went viral: “….When Donkeys spread rumors about me I dont Respond cause I’m the master that leads them to the Well to drink the Water. Yele haiti 4 life!”

Diplomats rapper Jim Jones announced that he will be trading in the mic for the textbooks, taking over as a music instructor. Jones, who is expected teach at a New York City high school, told Rap Radar he is excited about the opportunity. “It’s definitely going to be fun. I [will] have to go home the weekend before and write out my lessons,” he continued, “This will be the funnest class you can go to and shit but you gonna learn a lot.”
The Dipset member is expected to teach for just eight weeks and is currently waiting for the green light. “Right now they’re actually going back and forth with the Board of Education to see what goes on and shit. I fully don’t know the whole logistics of everything.”
Although Jones has never taught a music course before, he feels as though he has a lot to offer. “I’ve done music business since I was a teenager. I had major executive positions. I’ve been successful as an artist and successful as a label. We’ve been successful as a movement.”
Although a location and date have not yet been set, Jones plans to begin his role as a high school music instructor later in the year.

Incarcerated rapper Lil Wayne has reportedly been ordered not to sign any autographs during his time in jail. The hip-hop star was sentenced to a year in prison on weapons possession charges this week and began serving his time at New York’s Rikers Island prison on Monday, March 8

But officials at the institution have instructed the “Lollipop” hitmaker to avoid publicizing his celebrity status while he is in jail and banned him from signing autographs for other inmates, according to TMZ. A representative for the Correction Officer’s Benevolent Association tells the website the decision was made because “Lil Wayne is not a celebrity in here.”

Beside not allowed to sign any autographs, Lil Wayne was also recently reported that he is not given special treatment in the prison since Correction Department’s spokesman Stephen Morello revealed that Weezy never requests for protective custody. He added, “It’s his choice.”

How did you get the name Nipsey Hussle?  

The meaning behind the name Nipsey Hussle is: 

You know the last name Hussle more represent the spirit and the reputation that I had before I had the nickname. It was more or less my homey boy baby kosh threw on me one day in a joking fashion, like jokin’ clownin’ around so it was just something that ended up stickin’ over time. There was no real meaning ta’the Nipsey part, just a spin-off to Nipsey Russle. I didn’t know who that was at the time, since I took the name, I did a lil’ research and found out about it and ain’t no parallels between me and him. Personally I just kinda liked how the name sound, you know? I personified the life style and the hustle and ambition so that why that stuck.  

Where do you come from? 

Originally I come from Los Angeles, California the west side, Crenshaw Slauson area, known as the Rollin’ 60’s 
 

What do you got goin’ on right now that the people could look out for? 

The moves that I’m makin’ right now, I’m doin’ a lot! I’m working on my debut project :South Central State of Mind” I’m workin’ on the Slauson Boy album and a Slauson boy mixtatape, Wich is myself/Cuzy Capone, Hustla Rob, G-Bob, Bret Paul, J-stone, Tiny Boss Hogg and Shadey Blue. Aside from that, we developin’ a company “All money In No money out we got acts getting ready to sign to that, ummm we tryna’ situate a distribution deal for the label. 

We got a new store opened up in L.A. Slauson t-shirts you know we had closed down temporarily since my brother been home, we opened it back up. Um, you know we got the studio Dedication Studio in Los Angeles, and you know we been makin’ really focused on making my solo debut as big and as classic as possible. And that’s what we got goin’ on right now.

My thought on the current state of hip-hip west-coast hip-hop is that we in a time of a transition and we need a new sound, we need a new direction, a new leader! And I feel like that’s what I’m here for. To fill that position that void. No cut/

When it comes to who I’m gonna bring into the game when I’m ready, you know definitely the Slauson Boys. Definitely J-Stone, definitely Kid Cali, definitely Gran-Pa, Rolow, and a young dude from Watts named Killa Twan, and there’s a couple of other people that I deal with that I’ll hopefully be in the position to know be a bridge to or a foot in the game to, you know those people I named most definitely.

The last time I was shopping, was at the Slauson swap meet, earlier this week.  A couple of days ago. 

And as far as shopping at the t-shirt shop, well we just opened it back up so we shoppin’ for it. We ain’t shoppin in it. We buy the merchandise that goes in the shop.
