Rihanna in pink cardigan and acid wash jeans

I’ve always been a fan of acid wash jeans. There is something about them that appeal to the aesthetic that I can’t explain. I know the look has been around for the longest and I’m glad it’s here and here to stay. Rihanna’s look here is completely 80s with a twist of the millennium. Her acid wash jeans are gorgeous. The style lines on them make for great detail. That’s my favorite part of the jean. Of course she’s still rockin’ her jet black mohawk and a pink cardigan. I’m not too fond of the color, I think she should have worn blue or aqua, but it gives great affect to her Louis Vuitton Graffiti Mask Shades (seen below). This look is everything, and as Apple says it, NECK UP. Two thumbs up Rihanna.

Bone Thug’s manager, Steve Lobel, is looking to hit LV where it hurts over an event they hosted that went awry:

A veteran rap and hip-hop manager who says he was hurt at Kanye West’s star-studded 30th birthday bash is suing luxury clothier Louis Vuitton, which hosted the event.

Steve Lobel, who oversees the Grammy-winning group Bone, Thugs-N-Harmony, was among the glitterati partying with West at Vuitton’s Fifth Ave. store on June 7, 2007, when a temporary panel fell off the wall onto his chrome dome, the suit charges.

Other high-profile revelers at the party included Rihanna, Sean (Puffy) Combs, Jay-Z, Usher and Mariah Carey.

Lobel is demanding unspecified damages from the company, who, he claims, used unstable wall panels to “obscure the store’s merchandise and create a club look.”

It’s the latest black eye for Louis Vuitton’s 57th St. location. In December, Harlem rapper Jim Jones landed behind bars after beating a friend of rival artist, Ne-Yo, inside the store.

A rep for Louis Vuitton declined to comment.
